Sapa is a former French hill station situated in the sweeping valleys near the Chinese border. Its high elevation of 1600 meters creates its cool climate which inspired the French to build villas there as a summer retreat. Today, Sapa still attracts visitors for its stunning scenery, comfortable climate, colorful markets, and a variety of ethnic hill tribes who live in nearby villages. This program has increasingly become popular through the years with improvements in the road conditions and the new 4-star Victoria Sapa Hotel making travel today much easier and more comfortable.  The Chinese style Halong Junk  boatcould bring to you a wonderful night on the bay with luxury and antique accommodations with  perfect services provided by the friendly crew. Day 1, Friday: Hanoi - Sapa
Our trip starts with an overnight train journey from Vietnams capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. The luxury Victoria Express  departs at  22:00pm

Day 2, Saturday: Sapa
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa.  The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours. Once at Sapa, we will check into Victoria hotel, we have a freshen up, and have  breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy a free morning to explore around town. Meet your guide from the hotel lobby at 10am for a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the H'mong  hill tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Diner at Victoria Sapa Hotel.

Day 3, Sunday: Bacha Market - Victoria Express train back to Hanoi
Rising to the sounds of morning coming to life for another lovely day, we  breakfast and head out for a stunning spectacular of bobbling bazaar.  Bacha  is considered  one of the most wonderful and colorful markets in extreme north Vietnam where thousands of local people in their traditional attires busily buy and sell the local produces. Dog, cat, pig, horse... are all on sales. This is golden opportunity to take best shots! Afternoon we will have a pleasant walk  to Ban Pho village, home to flower H'mong people. Opportunity to interact with friendly local people and have pleasant walk amongst tribal villages. Transfer to Laocai station for overnight Victoria Express back to Hanoi.

Day 4, Monday: Hanoi - Halong
We arrive back to Hanoi  station  around 6am.

Day 6 : Halong-Hanoi

Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day. We breakfast over sunset:

• Junk boat once again sets sail through breathtaking secluded Halong bay

• Enjoy breakfast while cruising

• Visit Bai tu long Bay , Teapot island , Chopstiks island , Bai tho mountain.

• Return to Halong city and have lunch on board.

• Back to Halong wharf and disembark
  Transfer back to Hanoi. Arrival Hanoi in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel.
   The trip concludes in Hanoi.
